The following links relate to currently active Civil Defence/Civil Protection organisations throughout the World.  In some cases, due to political instabilities or government organisation/re-organisation, it is difficult to be definitive and links may change or disappear entirely. As an example of the latter whilst researching the content for this page a whole government website became a telephone selling site. Some sites are not ssl compliant and so links have been removed for safety. Some agencies with responsibility for civil protection/defence are hidden away within large government sites and it isn't easy to fathom where to look unless one is already fluent in the local language.
